1995-Present: Extensive experience litigating criminal matters in the Federal Appellate and District Courts of New York, and New Jersey. I also litigate on a regular basis in The Superior Courts of New Jersey and the Supreme Court of Yew York.

1990-1995: During this time I was the Assistant Attorney in Charge of the Manhattan Office of the Criminal Defense Division of the Legal Aid Society. I was responsible for oversight of 180 Criminal Defense Attorneys. Responsibilities included conducting Continuing Legal Education while participating in office-wide strategic decisions implicating both in court and out of court tactics.

1983-1995: I was a trial attorney with the Criminal Defense Division of the Legal Aid Society of New York for twelve (12) years. I have been the lead counsel in over one hundred (100) felony trials. Although I did assume managerial responsibilities in 1987, I always maintained an active caseload. The Legal Aid Society is the primary defender of the indigent accused in New York City. Its system of vertical representation afforded me the opportunity to gain expertise in all phases of Criminal Defense work. In my capacity as a litigator in that firm I was responsible for the comprehensive caseload management of over five thousand (5,000) cases.
